What a thriller! The final of the 10-dance Swiss Senior Championships was unrivalled in terms of suspense. In the end, Felix Locher and Silvia Nater were delighted with their total of 5 championship titles in the supreme discipline of dance sport.
Felix and Silvia had a thrilling duel with local heroes Pierre-Yves Richoz and Audrey Etter on Saturday evening in the Salle Des Fêtes in Geneva. After nine dances, the couple from TTZ and the one from GKDC were tied. The decision for Felix and Silvia came in the final Quickstep. Overjoyed, they received their second gold medal this year after winning the championship in the Latin dances. Marco and Irene Milan completed the podium in third place.
Double title win in the youth
Mikhail Pikulin and Eva Pikulina danced at medal level right from the start. They were not impressed by their competitors and danced to first place in all 10 dances. Mikhail and Eva were also able to celebrate their second championship title after the gold medal in the standard dances this year in Kilchberg.
