Training hall

COVID-19 Measures
The training hall is available to all TTZ members or non-members for training.

The training area is 210 m2 large. In the entrance area, users have access to storage boxes, 3 bistro tables, 2 sofas, a kitchen corner and a small fitness corner. In the adjoining room is the cloakroom with WC and shower. The installed music system can be used for training sessions.

Video surveillance in the training hall

As there has been an increasing number of disregard for the rules of conduct, in particular unauthorised access by turning the lock bolt, the entrance, the lounge area and part of the dance floor are monitored by video.

On Sunday, 19 June, the entrance test for new applicants as dance teachers and various module examinations will take place at Dancers. For this reason the Standard Sunday Practice from 11:30-13:00 and the Group Training Latin Technique from 13:30 - 14:45 in the training hall. The hall is closed for individual training during this time. 

At Friday, 22 July finds the Group training Standard technique from 19:10-20:40 in the training hall. The hall is closed for individual training during this time.

* On Wednesdays, the group training Standard Technique takes place every 2 weeks in the training hall. From 8 pm onwards, the hall is closed for individual training. Exact dates are available under Dates listed.

Behaviour in the training room

  • We treat each other with respect.
  • We want order and cleanliness in the training room, so we behave accordingly. We leave the room as we like to find it ourselves. As the waste bin is only emptied sporadically, it is not suitable for food and its packaging - these should be disposed of at home.
  • The changing room and the shower are for everyone's free use. Here, too, the rule is: leave it the way you like to find it.
  • There are block times for Standard and Latin in the training hall - these must be observed. With the consent of those present, Latin may exceptionally be practised in a Standard block and vice versa. During free practice, the choice of music is subject to mutual agreement or the 15-minute rule.
  • On sight, it is "tolerated" that trainers also give lessons during the "other" block. If music is required for the lesson, "it doesn't cost anything to ask" also applies here and if the people present agree, an appropriate piece of music may be played.
  • Simply turning off music is not desired. The song should be played until the end when someone dances to it. Afterwards, please ask those present if it is possible to change.
  • Neither water nor oil may be emptied directly onto the parquet. The correct application for preparing shoes is posted by the sofa. Non-compliance will be admonished and may lead to further sanctions if repeated. Anyone who puts water or oil directly on the dance floor will also have to pay for the parquet repair!
  • There is a "Lost and Found Box": All abandoned items (clothes, shoes, etc.) are kept in it and disposed of after a certain time.
  • All dancers in the training hall pay for the use of the hall. So please do not just leave the door open and/or let people knocking in. (Unless they have bought a lesson or a training package).
  • In exceptional cases, the training hall can be closed for certain events. This will be published early enough and the badge holders will be informed.
  • Only coaches approved by the Dancers are allowed to teach in the TTZ training hall. Other "teachers" will be reported.
  • The music system should be operated carefully. In particular, do not switch off any speakers or adjust the balance on the mixing console. All 4 speakers must always be equally loud. If you are not familiar enough with the operation of the system, you are welcome to ask Oliver or Renato for instructions.
  • Instructions of the members of the TTZ board and the coaches are to be followed.
