Data collection

The TTZ processes the following data in connection with video recordings:

  • Image recordings from surveillance cameras
  • Technical information, time of recording

The video recording covers the entrance area to the training hall, the recreation area and the training area. The video recording is indicated by a pictogram. Recording is always continuous (24/7).

Purpose of the data collection

The TTZ processes the personal data listed above for the following purposes:

  • For the prevention of criminal offences
  • To investigate possible crimes and enforce rules of conduct, e.g. grant entry by turning the lock bolt.
  • For the protection of the right of domicile, in particular for the prevention and punishment of damage to property, defilement, burglaries and thefts

Processing of personal data

The personal data may be disclosed to law enforcement authorities upon presentation of an edit / surrender order. The TTZ processes the personal data in Switzerland.

The TTZ shall process and store personal data for as long as it is required for the purposes described in section 3. Video recordings that are required in the context of any criminal and/or civil proceedings shall be retained for as long as they are necessary for the purposes of clarification and evidence. The remaining video recordings are deleted at regular intervals as soon as they are no longer required for the purpose for which they were processed. The TTZ is committed to handling personal data with care and ensuring that it is protected from unauthorised access. Our security measures include, for example, firewalls, data encryption, physical and technical access restrictions and periodic backups.

Data rights

You have the right to information, surrender/transfer and correction and/or deletion of your data. In addition, you have the right to restrict data processing and to revoke any consent you may have given. These rights are not unlimited rights. Depending on the individual case, overriding interests may justify a restriction or refusal. In addition, the revocation of any consent only applies to future data processing. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected. Consent can be revoked at any time.
